A dark browser music player with a spinning vinyl, a demo playlist and local file support

Pulse is a single-page music player that runs entirely in the browser. It opens with a dark purple gradient backdrop, a rotating vinyl illustration and a three-track playlist credited to SoundHelix. Users can play, pause, skip, seek, adjust volume, toggle shuffle and repeat, and switch tracks by clicking the playlist. The Add tracks button opens the system file picker so personal audio files can be queued alongside the demo songs, with no account or upload involved.

How to Use

Open the player
Load the page and the first demo track, Helix One, is already selected with its artwork and total duration shown. Press the round play button to start audio; the vinyl begins rotating and the elapsed timer starts counting.
Control playback
Use the previous, next and pause buttons to move through the playlist, drag the progress bar to seek, and use the volume slider to set loudness. The shuffle and repeat buttons toggle on and off, and clicking any playlist row switches the current song immediately.
Load your own tracks
Click Add tracks to open the system file picker, choose local audio files and they are appended to the playlist. Your files stay on your device, and the three demo songs remain available in the same list.
