// description

A dark tactical dashboard for tracking a demo fleet and controlling engines remotely

SENTINEL // Fleet Command is a browser-based fleet management console built around a simulated live feed. After signing in with a demo account, an operator sees a top strip of counters, a Leaflet map with vehicle markers and a right-hand panel that switches between the fleet list, geofence management and an event stream. Each unit has a plate, driver, telemetry such as speed, heading, fuel, battery and temperature, and a detail panel where remote engine start, engine kill and alarm commands can be issued. Geofence zones support exit auto-shutdown, and every action or breach is written into the alert feed.

How to Use

  1. Sign in

    Open the site and use one of the demo credentials shown on the login card, for example admin with the passcode sentinel, or operator with the passcode watch. Press AUTHENTICATE and the dashboard loads with the map, the counter strip and the side panels.

  2. Read the fleet

    Use the list on the right to see each unit with its plate, driver and status. Type in the search box to filter by unit, plate or driver, or click a unit card to open a detail panel that reports engine state, alarm state, speed, heading, fuel, battery, temperature and VIN.

  3. Control a unit

    Inside the detail panel, press ENGINE KILL to send a remote shutdown or REMOTE START to bring the engine back. The status changes to a pending state and a toast confirms the command before the engine settles into its new state, while the event stream records both the command and the result.

  4. Manage geofences

    Open the Geofences panel to see existing zones, then use the circle or polygon tools on the map to draw and save a new one. Each zone offers DISABLE, AUTO-KILL EXIT and REMOVE actions, and unit entry or exit events show up in the alerts feed.
