PathoLab LIS is an interactive laboratory information system designed around the daily work of a pathology laboratory. After signing in with one of the supplied administrator, pathologist, or technician demo accounts, users enter a structured workspace with an operational dashboard and modules for patients, test orders, result entry, billing, the diagnostic test catalog, inventory, users, audit history, and settings. A new order can combine a patient, referring doctor, priority, clinical notes, one or more priced tests, discounts, and tax before generating an invoice. The catalog includes routine laboratory tests as well as pathology services with test codes and specimen requirements.

How to Use

Sign in with a demo role
Open the login page and use one of the displayed administrator, pathologist, or technician credentials. A successful sign-in opens the laboratory dashboard and reveals the modules available to that role.
Register or locate a patient
Open Patients to search by name, medical record number, or phone. If the person is not listed, open the registration form, enter the available identity and contact details, and save the record for use in laboratory orders.
Create a test order
Open New Order, select a patient, optionally enter the referring doctor and clinical information, choose routine, urgent, or STAT priority, and select the required diagnostic tests. The billing panel updates the test count, subtotal, discount, tax, and total before invoice generation.
Continue laboratory processing
Use Orders to monitor submitted work, Result Entry to record test findings, and Billing to follow financial records. The dashboard summarizes patients, daily orders, pending tests, approvals, ready reports, and total orders as operational data accumulates.
Maintain laboratory resources
Use Test Catalog to manage the available services and specimen requirements, Inventory to track laboratory supplies, and the administration area to manage users, review audit history, and adjust settings.
