Snakes and Ladders is a compact browser adaptation of the traditional dice-based board game. A complete 10-by-10 serpentine board fills the main play area, with ladders that advance a token and snakes that send it backward. Players can choose a local two-player match or play against the computer. The side panel identifies each participant, tracks current positions, reports the latest roll, announces whose turn comes next, and provides controls to roll or reset the match. Everything runs on one page without an account or installation.

How to Use

Choose an opponent
Select 2 Players for a local match where two people share the controls, or choose vs Computer to replace Player 2 with an automated opponent. The player cards update immediately to reflect the selected mode.
Roll the dice
Press Roll Dice on your turn. The page displays the rolled number, advances the active token, updates the position counter, and announces the next turn. A roll of six grants another roll, as indicated by the status message.
Follow the board
Continue taking turns while watching for marked snakes and ladders across the numbered grid. The objective is to move from the starting position toward the trophy on square 100 before the opponent.
Start over
Press New Game at any point to return both participants to position zero while preserving the currently selected opponent mode, then use Roll Dice to begin a fresh match.
