Control a pixel tank across varied terrain, destroy incoming enemy forces, and hold the base.

Battle City is a browser-based pixel-style tank shooting game. After entering the battlefield, the player can use the keyboard to move the tank and fire bullets, engaging enemy forces on a map made up of brick walls, steel walls, rivers, grass, and ice. The page displays the level, score, lives, high score, remaining enemies, and destroyed count in real time, and expands the battle variety through power-ups such as firepower enhancement, full-screen destruction, freezing enemies, reinforcing the base, extra lives, and temporary shields.

How to Use

Start Game
After opening the page, first check the keyboard operation instructions, click Start Game to enter the battlefield; the game interface will show the current level, lives, score, and remaining enemies.
Move and Shoot
Use the arrow keys or WASD to move the tank around the map, press the Space bar to fire bullets, and use the walls and different terrains in the map to adjust your attack and defense routes.
Manage Battle Status
Keep an eye on the remaining enemies, destroyed count, and lives in the sidebar; pick up any power-ups that appear. If you need to step away, press P to pause and M to toggle sound.
Continue the Challenge
Protect the base and destroy incoming enemy forces to advance through the levels; after the battle, you can use the restart or play again entry provided on the page to continue playing.
