Tap to rise through rotating neon rings before the timing slips away

CHROMA is a single-screen browser arcade game. You tap anywhere to push a glowing orb upward through a vertical tower of large neon rings. Every ring is split into four coloured arcs that rotate continuously, and the orb can only pass through the arc that matches its own colour; touching any other arc ends the run. The game keeps a live score as you climb and stores your best result locally, so each session has a number to beat. A dark starfield backdrop, flowing neon glow, synthesised sound and a mute toggle complete the presentation, and the whole thing runs in the browser with mouse or touch input.

How to Use

Start the run
Open the page and read the title card, which shows the game name, the line Match the light. Never miss. and a TAP TO RISE button. A smaller hint reminds you to keep tapping to stay in the air, and a BEST counter sits beside the button. Tap anywhere on the screen to begin.
Time your taps
A glowing orb rises from a small platform at the bottom into a column of rotating rings, each divided into four coloured arcs. Tap anywhere to push the orb upward; if you stop, gravity pulls it back down. Watch the rotating rings and tap so the orb passes only through the arc that matches its colour. Hitting a different colour ends the run.
Chase your best
The score at the top counts how far you have climbed, and the KEEP TAPPING prompt stays visible while you play. After a run ends, the start screen shows your BEST value, which is stored in the browser, so the next attempt starts with a number to beat.
