How to Use

1. Choose a tournament edition

   Start on the archive home page and select a year card. Each card identifies the host, champion, participating-team count, match count, and tournament format before opening the full edition record.

2. Review the edition overview

   At the top of an edition page, review the host, champion, runner-up, third-place team, competition size, and format. Use the edition selector to move directly to another tournament without returning to the home page.

3. Search for a national team

   Enter a country name in the team search field. The page updates the visible match count and keeps only the stages and fixtures involving that team, with a clear empty state when the active filters produce no result.

4. Filter by competition stage

   Select all matches, groups, round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, third-place match, or final. Stage filters can be combined with the team search to focus the historical record further.

5. Read tables and match cards

   Scroll through each stage to inspect group standings and individual match cards. Results include dates and, where relevant, notes about extra time and penalty shootouts.
