Monitor SQL backup jobs and explore the copy flow through eleven animated views

BCP Dashboard is a browser-based control panel for SQL database backup and BCP copy operations. It presents five sample backup jobs covering 41 folders, destination disk capacity, and pass, stale or fail statistics. Users can start a simulated backup run, watch per-folder progress and live logs, review the final summary, and export the log, CSV or PDF report. The same data flow can be explored through eleven visual modes, from circuit boards and Sankey rivers to a roller coaster and a Pac-Man style arcade, with light and dark themes and keyboard shortcuts.

How to Use

Read the overview
Open the page and check the overview panel on the left. It shows enabled jobs, total folders, pass, stale and failed counts, connected servers and destination disk usage. The job list on the right displays each backup job with its folder progress and current status.
Switch a visual mode
Click the mode button in the top bar to open the list of eleven views, then choose one such as Roller Coaster, Arcade, Circuit, Galaxy or 3D Orbit. Drag on the canvas to rotate the scene, use the mouse wheel to zoom, click a job to focus it and press Esc to return.
Start the simulation
Press the simulate copy button at the bottom. The dock changes to a progress bar and stop button, jobs move through running and finished states, and the log shows server checks, disk preflight, per-folder copy entries with file sizes, stale warnings and failures.
Review and export
When the run ends, the summary reports totals such as failed and stale folders, copied size and elapsed time. Use the buttons near the log to run a preflight check, download the log, clear it, copy the summary, download a CSV or print and save a PDF.
