Move and merge identical number tiles, pushing steadily toward 2048 on a 4×4 board
This is a classic 2048 number-merging web game. A 4×4 board sits at the center of the page; players can use the keyboard arrow keys or swipe on a touchscreen device to move all tiles in the same direction. When two tiles with the same value meet, they merge into their sum and increase the current score accordingly. After every valid move, a new 2 or 4 randomly appears on the board. The page records the current score and local high score, and offers New Game, single-step undo, and rules. Open the browser and you can go from starting, keep merging, and push toward the target number in a complete experience.

How to Use
Start the game
When the page opens, the board automatically generates two initial number tiles; no login or extra setup is required. On desktop you can press the arrow keys directly, and on touch devices you can swipe in the desired direction on the board area.
Move and merge
Each move makes all tiles on the board shift in the same direction. Tiles with the same value that meet merge into a higher value; the page updates the current score at the same time, and after a valid move a new 2 or 4 appears.
Adjust your strategy
If the latest move is not what you wanted, click Undo to restore the board and score from before the move. Click How to Play to view the rules, and use Restart in the popup to begin again.
Start a new challenge
Clicking New Game clears the current board and this round's score and creates a new opening. The recorded high score remains, making it easy to keep challenging your personal best.
