// description

Play partnership Bid Whist at a live four-seat browser table with friends or configurable bots.

Bid Whist is an account-based multiplayer card game built around the classic four-player partnership format. After registering, players enter a lobby where they can choose an avatar, inspect available tables, spectate a game, or create a public or private room. A table host can fill open seats with bots, choose Easy, Normal, or Expert bot behavior, and begin a deal once all four seats are occupied. The game presents the auction, trump selection, kitty, hand management, trick play, team scores, dealer state, and table chat in one interface. Player profiles, a ranked ladder, match history, and eight achievements track longer-term activity.

How to Use

  1. Create an account

    Open the registration page from the sign-in screen, enter a username, email address, and password, then submit the form. A successful registration signs you in and opens the Bid Whist lobby.

  2. Find or create a table

    Use the lobby list to join an open table or spectate a full one. To host, enter a table name, select a bot difficulty, optionally hide the room from the public lobby, and choose Create table.

  3. Fill the seats

    At your own table, invite players or use Add bot until all four partnership seats are occupied. The table shows every participant, card count, score, bot status, and the current number of seated players.

  4. Start and bid

    Choose Start game when four seats are ready. During the auction, adjust the bid value, choose Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, or No Trump, then bid or pass. The auction list and high-bid display update as players and bots act.

  5. Play the deal

    Follow the phase prompt to manage kitty cards and play from your hand. Card buttons become available when an action is valid, while the table tracks dealer status, hand sizes, contract information, team scores, and turn progression.

  6. Track progress

    Return to the lobby to open your profile, ranked ladder, achievements, or match history. These pages show rating, games, wins, and progress toward milestones such as the first deal, first win, and longer-term play goals.
